Hi first post as i just ventured into the merc world.

i have a slight problem
i have a 2000 w210 2.6l v6 auto

ESP/BAS/ABS errors reading but caused by SAS not communicating. i have 3 sensors now all second hand but surely all 3 cant be dead. on Star it has no read out value when wheel is turned with any of the three installed which is leading the garage to believe it is a wiring fault.

could someone be so kind as to tell me where the red and blue wire to the SAS goes and this is the only dead wire i found when i was testing them with a voltage meter.
also what should the others be reading. i had 2 live and one neutral (i assume)

i also changed the BLS first.

Help Im running out of ideas and dont wanna spend silly money fixing it.

also surely if the fuse was dead there wouldnt be 2 wires with a voltage output going into the Steering angle sensor. it just doesnt seem to be communicating with wherever the data gets processed. is it the BAS esp control unit where it goes??

ABS is the base system, BAS rides on top of the ABS to take control of individual braking and engine control. ESP rides on to top of the BAS to take car of the car skewing.

Looks like a speed signal gone for the ABS, the others cannot work with no ABS

You have changed the brake lamp switch.
