I see that Adolf Hitler's Mercedes is being auctioned.........wonder what it will fetch?

Slightly off the subject but it always makes me smile.
Peter Schutz who was head honcho at Porsche in the 80s, was asked for a comment after BMW bought Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen bought Bentley ( on the same day IIRC) He thought for a few seconds and then said,

"HITLER WOULD HAVE BEEN PLEASED"

I remember my Dad taking me to see that (or one the same) many moons ago!
I was less than 10 years old but remember being impressed!

If I were in the market for that type of vehicle it's history wouldn't unduly bother me - the car after all is in no way responsible for the actions of its passengers.
