Advice - Head Unit for 2006 CLK

Hope I'm posting this in the right part of the forum, first post so sorry if I'm not.

I want to put in a more modern head unit to replace the factory fitted one. Looking just to do a straight swap out, while retaining the steering wheel controls.

I'd say the speakers will be next but one step at a time.

Any recommendations?
