Hi Folks,
Anyone know roughly how much it costs to regas a 300te?
The climate control still sort of works, the temp is constantly at 19, when outside temp is cold the blower manages to heat the air, but when hot outside it doesnt seem to cool it.
Regass or something worse???
Thanks in advance,
Mike.

Hi,

If the compressor is running correctly and it is just the air that doesn't seem very cold it normally is just a re-gas that is required.

Don't know how much a dealer would charge  but you would expect to pay around £65 - £85 for a straight re-gas with no parts required from an independant specialist.

They normally charge around £140 for a service of your system.

 Just for information it is recommended that you run your air conditioning for around 20 minutes each month, even during the winter, to ensure the system and the gas is kept in order.

Regards

Thanks,
That sounds about right. My climate is on throughout the year, as it takes more effort to prod the "ec" button to turn it off than to keep it on!!
I will take it in for someone to have a look
Mike.
