This is very true. This is the response i got from them
"Hi Matt,
No, the electronic module won?t work on that car. However, your valve body can be modified. We?d need to have it for about 5 days. Charge is $500. It is removed by dropping the transmission pan, removing the filter than detaching the valve body.
Unfortunately shipping to/from the UK may make it prohibitive. Damage in transit would be a real mess as it is very hard and expensive to replace this component. You may be able to find other MB tuners in Europe who could help you with the valve body modification more easily.

When I had my 190e I thought it was more than quick enough even with the infamous "2nd gear take off". I guess I must drive with a lead foot. If I needed a quick getaway I used to bury the pedal about 3 inches past the kickdown solenoid switch :biggrin:
