I found something interesting for some of you AMG guys looking for brake parts at a reasonable cost. It may be old news but apparently there Mercedes have cheaper alternatives to the AMG parts (I think these are for the rear), see below. I would think the part numbers translate to UK parts too.

As the pricing is in $ US is it possible these parts are only available to the US market?

UK owners are already shafted with SBC and fuel tank replacements over the US market.

Anyone notice the same part number in the middle row for a W212/218/204 (2194210212 - 2 Piece Brembo Rotor $439 each) and below it for the W211/219 it quotes the same part number (2194210202 - 2 Piece Rotor $1020 each)
Thats some price difference for the same part number!

I wasn't sure whether the supplier is in the States , but if so you have to factor in other costs.Postal charges from the States are horrendous, exchange rate bad and the dreaded VAT and import duty on both purchase costs and postage, bank charges for paying in dollars, and carrier service costs for custom clearance often makes it uneconomic. I recently bought $60 worth of stuff from the US and by the time everyone robbed my pocket the final cost was £90. May still be savings to be had looking at those prices though.

The supplier is Mercedes, the part numbers are all MB parts so should be available in the UK.

And if you are going on holiday to the US, order and pick them up, pop them in your suitcase ;)
