As above my memory may be imperfect, even though my instal is more recent.
Also I'm can't be sure that your unit is the same as mine without removing it. But I write as though it is. Mine is definitely a single DIN sized rear as yours, and also 9" Octo core.
These Chinese units come with cables and adapters to suit different models and instal requirements. There are usually left overs after an instal.
I'm not finding info on the B1, B2 and B3 ports, are these possibly for the optional add ons of DTV tuner and DAB tuner?
MB use 'Fakra' for the tuner antenna, and if my GPS roof antenna is original MB as I believe it to be they use Fakra for that also.
Mine also had a phone unit to the original Comand (now long gone), that was also Fakra and is now just tucked away as it's redundant.
But with 3 Fakra's to choose from it is possible to get them mixed.
If you have the original MB GPS antenna then the link I posted will allow for connecting to that. The unit will come with the magnetic GPS antenna that is screw connected to the rear of the HU, and labelled as GPS. I would connect that first to function test.
If later you connect the original GPS antenna via the adapter I linked if it doesn't work it isn't the GPS antenna.
On the linked GPS adapter one end is Fakra to connect to the cars original GPS antenna (if there is one), the other end is a screw connector for the rear of the HU, where labelled GPS.
Yes I would expect the tuner antenna amp to be powered via the quadlock connector. The HU should have come with the co-ax to Fakra adapter to plug your original antenna into the HU. There should be no need to connect the flying power lead on the antenna adapter. To confirm, I would expect your tuner antenna amp to be powered by the new HU whan connected up to the cars original power connector (the quadlock)
If you get the wrong Fakra on the car you may still get reception, but poor reception. Find a weak signal station to test for correct connection. For example Radio 2 is usually a strong signal and can disguise poor reception.
To prove the 12 volt out from the HU a 12 volt meter to the chassis of the HU and the blue wire (no 12 I imagine) in the HU's power connector will only power up with the HU on. 12 volts on this and the tuner amp is being powered. Don't be surprised if this reads around 11.5 volts.
Your 6m extension adapter shouldn't be required.
