Saw a 300E-24 (saloon) today. Spec as follows:

1992 model
Blue/black with dark silver plastic.
Body kit fitted (front and rear spoiler)
A/C (working)
Cruise
5 Speed Auto
Cloth interior
Manual seat
Passenger side mirror only electric
105K miles book all stamped (bar 'missing' service at 95K)
Started on the button, no obvious oil leaks on outside of engine block but couldn't get the ruddy oil filler cap off to check inside.
No rust on wheelarches (folded over metal full of road crud though)
Those really nice 8 Hole alloys

On the minus side:

Definitely needs a service
Sunroof sticks and is a pain to close
Someone has keyed the paintwork (not through to bare metal but on a black car is noticable).
Dubious quality work on fitted towbar - hole drilled through boot floor to put electrics through - going slightly rusty.
Patch of rust about 1cm x 3cm on outside of c-pillar near the rear windscreen (seems an unusual place to get it).
Unsure if bodykit is factory fitted.

I reckon it's worth about £1800 tops but about £2200 if all of the bad bits were sorted. Any views?
