That was a EPIC lap by Ham today. The onboard is pretty spectacular to watch.

Agreed - Verstappen is the bogeyman tomorrow. Very fast starter, which will leave Lewis prey for Vettel behind him, who also starts fast.
I have a feeling Lewis will get boxed in and lose several places. Vettel might even make light contact and spin Lewis to the back of the pack. It's been done before!

I doubt he will deliberately hit him. The telemetry would show him up and he’d risk taking himself out the race, which is not something he can afford.

Here's hoping. SV gave quite a good interview, where he said the car is fine, Mercedes are not the obstacle... he was. Hopefully he behaves and we get a fight between 3 or 4 cars tomorrow!

I think this will focus LH’s mind and I predict his best ever start but still be behind MV at the first bend, but crucially in front of SV

I have to agree. Very little action at the front and apart from Perez trying to be the next Crashtor Maldonardo it was a snoozefest.
A shame because Singapore put on a great event, but with so few overtaking opportunities it ends up like Monaco...........a procession.

Excellent result for LH today and SV looked gutted. I think he knows its over Ferrari for yet another year. They have had the best car overall but still failed. Very poor tactics ruined it for them. Plenty of points left but like EJ, I don't see it happening for SV now.

Brilliant strategy by RB with MV's pit stop really showed how Ferrari's strategists got it wrong - again. Also shame that DR being fast did not allow him to attack KR/VB. However, kudos to LH for the superb Q3 pole position lap then controlling the race for an excellent win.

Just another exercise in tyre management.
Street circuits should be dropped from the calender - the cars have outgrown them.
Qualifying shows what the cars are capable of, but the slow procession during the race was poor entertainment.

From what I read there are 3 concept cars all with different themes and designed by different people but they WILL have 18" wheels.

I haven’t read about it for a while. But from memory it was shelved until the 18” wheels as it would mean a complete redesign of the current tyre performance.

The drivers objected as they said it would be dangerous as the current tyres take ages to heat up, will have to see what happens, maybe we will see a tyre war as Michelin said they would be interested in 18" tyre supply as it is relevant to their WEC programme
