Button/Vettel should do very well
high fuel/harder compound over high fuel/softs
then late on in race
low fuel/softs v low fuel/hards
be issues of tyres upto temperature with low fuel on the harder compound in the mercedes petronas - mclaren will overcome their issues
Well done...all who were on the podium.
You know sometimes F1 is boring. compared it to MotoGP which had there first race which great and carnt wait to next round.
Was a good race. ****** comfortable. ***** and ****** strategy backfired. Can't wait for next race.
I think that ****** and ****** would be very pleased with a fifth place - the car is improving.
Who reads a F1 thread and not expect to see talk about the results?
As you were.......
The race was live on both Sky and BBC and has finished to be fair.
Many people don't get up early to watch...this has been discussed before...be fair people. The re-run is over at 4:20...can't we wait 'til then?
The nanny thread!
I thought he was a footballer rather than F1 driver?
All footballers think they are F1 drivers.
Just as well we all held back from discussing the race. The number of posts since the re-run has been overwhelming
Unfortunate race for Webber, wanted him to stick one to SB
I thought we had 3 of the best 4 drivers on the podium, and a good technical race to watch - I particularly enjoyed guessing who would pit when.
Next race will be tight at the front, with Alonso, Vettel and Raikonnen fighting for the win.
Hamilton will qualify OK, but a technical issue in the race will put him back many places.
If none want to spoil the pleasure of watching the race, do not read the above.
Herr M Schumacher is to drive the Nordschleife in a W02 in June:
Will he go for/be allowed a timed lap or will it be just a PR stunt? I hope the former to see what a modern F1 car can do round that track.
BMW let Heidfeld go round in 2007 but he had to slow down for pictures.
Mercedes front row for Spain tomorrow
Should be an interesting start.
Lets hope for race pace but I bet tyres and weather will be a factor
