HAM on Pole Position, BOT didn't quite manage to find the pace but he is still new to the car.

looks like the trend for processions will continue at all circuits where overtaking is more difficult due to larger cars. How long before Monte Carlo is ditched from the calendar as it will be totally boring.

I've always thought it was a boring race as if you lead at the first corner and don't have your pit stop ruined you win the race 9/10, that is the biggest procession of all, as for scrapping I think its to steeped in history and billionaires to get rid.

At least Indycar racing there is a bunch of overtaking ..just a shame it's an oval track ... I agree with Eman here ... what I don't get is why the powers that be don't see the same thing we do ...

I know Indy is usually on ovals but I still think it is much better and closer racing

Niki Lauda has predicted ongoing complete harmony between Lewis and Valtteri.

Val was certainly on Lewis' tail during the first race, so he's quick in a new car. If he begins to get the upper hand as the year progresses, does Niki really think that complete harmony will prevail?

Chinese GP

Well almost all of Friday's Practice (both sessions) had to be abandoned due to mist/cloud and fog, preventing the air ambulance being able to operate should it be needed.

The medical facility which has FIA approved equipment is some 38km away and not reachable via road ambulance quickly.

Race is still scheduled for Sunday (for now)

A lot better race than Aus. Good win for Mercedes and Verstappen is a future multiple title winner for sure.
