New track record for Ham and is tied on all time Poles with Schumacher. Awesome day for him.

Yes I skipped through most of the recording as it was so boring
I unfortunately saw the result. I struggle to watch it when I know who has won, second and third. I suspected it would be a bit dull. Hopefully Monza being a totally different track might be more interesting.

yes multiple tyre suppliers, refuelling stops and removing many of the stupid restrictions would certainly liven things up. It would however benefit the larger, wealthier, established teams and make it very difficult for a new team to come in. But they are going to have to do something to widen the audience. I for one won't be watching when it moves away from terrestrial tele in 2020.

Moto GP and Superbikes for me.
F1 when the track's a good one. Monaco and similar narrow processional tracks a definite no-no.

All time pole record for Lewis. Get in.

Ferrari were nowhere in the wet today.

Going to be a long time before Lewis' record gets broken. I reckon he will add another 30 poles at least before he retires.

Interesting grid for tomorrow!

Will be dry so Seb should work his way up as should the Red Bulls

Driver of the day for me was Lance Stroll.

Apparently its his first time in wet conditions using wet tyres in "anger".
Well competitive reality.

Merc whitewash today, but this could be the last easy win for them this season.

Robert Kubica has apparently dropped his Renault contract to pursue a drive elsewhere in 2018 (Williams?). This is due to Renault chasing Sainz for 2018 or possibly earlier to replace Palmer.

It's all part of a bigger circle where Toro Rosso take Honda engines and McLaren take Renault engines

Slightly OT but is this what it is all for? Making the technology for road cars and hypercars?
