Anyone know a very bright silver to spray my wheels

Mercedes brilliant Silver, the ubiquitous 744, from Halfords @ circa £6 a can. Plus lacquer.

These are the wheels shown earlier on my 744 S203 for a colour comparison.

Might look at that , I also like iridium silver it’s almost white in the sun.

Did you get whole wheels done back and front. Maybe mine needed more cleaning.

Yep whole wheels (is there any other way). Black barrels to hide the dust and oem colour for the face.

I think spraying wheels is a complete waste of time, they last no time at all. Powder coating is the only way forward.

When I bought my current car the dealer agreed to refurb the wheels as they were peeling in places. All that they did was to spray paint them. A couple of months down the road I was having them Powder Coated. I bought the car in the spring so it wasn't as though they were subject to any bad weather.

Powder Coating is the only way !!

You don't have to do the spare.

I got wheels on jaguar coated and only done 4 then damaged front one and it was a curse to get the single one done. The spare is the same wheel as rest so want to do it now.

Must have been badly done and perhaps no protection, I got wheels cleaned and painted on a Nissan in the paint shop where I was working at the time , the car never was in a garage as it was a work horse , lol
4 yrs down the line the Nissan was rotten and drive into the scrappers yet the wheels were the only good bit on it. Just same as getting any spraying done it’s down to what and who paints it. I m o

Ok booked them in for complete refurbishment, although no colour picked but the car is pale blue so I want something to stand out so might go for there sparkling silver.

Ok change of plan got a great price sorted if I get them done now so powder coating it is. Car is pale blue so I think I want something to stand out so might go for sparkling silver.

Go for bright yellow or gold. That’ll stand out.

Where you advised.
Thank you ,got great price from Elaine , but had to run quick to Carrickfergus to stop the guy from starting sandblasting. Got them picked up so leave them in on Monday.

My brother went to Carrick...then to The Wheel Specialist for them to correct what Carrick did (though, it was only the wheel centres for a Porsche).

When are you going...look right when you enter the gate...my car will be on the other side of the fence!

Can’t do them till wed or Thursday but I can leave them in on Monday or Tuesday.
