Strange thing happened on the way to the Golf Club this morning. I was driving along at approx. 35 ish. lifted off the accelerator and the car de- cellerated as through it was in 1st or 2nd gear. with engine braking, or the engine had stalled. It did this a couple of times. Driving home no problem. Any thoughts? Car still under warranty, should I get it checked out.

Yeah get it checked it could be a gearbox ECU issue...

How far had you driven? If the gearbox was cold and you hadn't driven far it will hold gears longer than usual.

I had only driven less than a mile, starting from cold. you could be correct. But I had not noticed it before.

My clubs are firmly buried in the back of garage and are likely to stay that way....my line would be..'funny thing happened on the way to work/school/school club a,b,c,d or e/airport/doctors' sounds just as boring if I'm honest!
