Auto rolls back

Yep, my W211 has C and S mode. It will roll back in S mode, but in C it will hold without using the SBC Hold function.

, Need to say the information on the posters car is not there ,so some dont know what car he has ..Every auto i have had will hold on the hill . So revs are to low or engine is not up to peak peformance .

if the engine is idling at the correct speed and it rolls down the hill, its a steep hill or the box is worn

for the the one where he can't find HOLD function... drive the car, brake to a halt and then try pressing the brake pedal down till it touches Australia, just before you reach this point HOLD comes up on the dash.... as you go to pull away press the accelerator more firmly than you want the car shudders and you might get a small noise as the "hand brake" frees off

or you come to a halt and leave your foot just resting on the brake pedal and gently pull away when the lights change...

either way the brake lights irritate the guy behind you
