B2 Service

Last month my car had the 40k service, but looking at the service info it indicates that the B2 service is due in 260 days, but I thought the B2 was a big service, it certainly costs the previous owner £750.

That’s certainly part of the scope- was it serviced by Lakeland Mercedes?

It was done at South Lakes, the notes say service A with plus package. So this is the cheaper one, a few things were replaced at a total costs of £750.

Yours must have had the ATF service done on mileage so that should reduce your B2 somewhat I think

Thanks John. When I rang the garage they did say it had just received a major service. Don't think I will maintain full mb dealer service history.

Depending on what is coming up over the next few years, a service plan be well worth the money. If you don’t want to go down this route then an independent is the next best thing.

Capra you said you're from Stroud I think.

There is an Indy Merc specialist in both Chelt and Gloucester, although sometimes they aren't a lot cheaper than the Mercedes dealer at Staverton!

Now yours has had the ATF changed, the services should be cheaper.

Says so on the receipt as well as Air filter change, they are £80 a pair

Wow, £80. I've got some homework to do this week, servicing costs/plans.

It has 2 air filters, one each side, you can get them for £60 off E-Bay or Grangemouth, should be changed every 30k
