I have a 2008 311cdi which has started to hiccup on acceleration. The reason i say hiccup is that the accompanying noise is very similar. It's like a temporary loss of power for a split second every so often. If I ease off the accelerator a bit it'll stop hiccuping and drive as normal. Ive researched the problem myself and found many suggestions to change the MAF sensor. I've put a brand new Bosch sensor on it but still the same. Any ideas?

Diagnose don't guess.
Get the codes read and if no codes look at the live data when it does it.

Possibly fuel delivery. Not getting through a filter fast enough. Fuel pump, etc.
