Hi, my usual garage attempted to fit a new battery. Car is a 2011 e class diesel coupe. It's not a top spec battery but it's like for like amps etc, and it's stop/start.

So when they put it on, no dash lights or anything came on, let alone turn it over
So they refitted the old one, hey presto all working.
Any ideas? Battery seller is adamant it's not the battery. It reads 12.89v at present sitting in my workshop
