BENEFITS DECATTING W210. ?

Hello everyone, Does anyone know what the improvement would be of decatting the exhaust system in BHP and MPG. ?
Also are there any issues with the MAF, ECU etc. ? herbiemercman.

no real gains in bhp or mpg as such. it just allows the engine to breathe that little bit more freely and rev more freely, particularly at higher RPM.

other than that, and possibly a slightly more audible turbo (from outside the car) you probably wont be able to tell the difference (assuming you just remove the innards from the boxes. replacement pipes can sometimes sound a little bit more 'raspy' due to not having the box)
