Best Reg plate ever ....

Today, whilst driving through Dublin, I saw a '95 320 CE with the registration 95-CE-320

To translate that its a 1995, County ClarE registered car. The 320 bit is simply a co-incidence, I'm sure!

The 320 bit was no doubt 'earmarked' by a merc enthusiast or dealer who happened to know someone in the tax office..like the local Pug dealer who used to get all the 205s,307s.405,6,7 etc.....

FU2 was in Autocar a couple of weeks ago at £325,000. As I posted at the time, that's more that the total of the 6 Ferrari's on the opposite page.

A mate of mine when I lived in Oz had a Triumph motorbike. Over there, you can make up a number and pay a modest fee to register your vehicle with that number. Anyway, he wanted T 555 but it had been allocated. So at a bit of a loss he asked for FU 2 and got it! Only a small fee upfront and another fee each year to keep it.
