Hi all
Just a line or two to say a big thanks to Beccy for helping me out of a bit of a jam. Came back over the pond via the overnight ferry to visit the folks and when I came down from the cabin to start the car, I couldnt get in via the remote control although could using the manual key, oh dear I say (read as fu~~'@in He77).
Got on the phone to Beccy and although she was having a bad day she soon put me in touch with Star Tech in Poole who dont even advertise in the drectory, although they used to.
Got down to Star Tech and within 5 mins they had it hooked up to the star and showing a fault with the PSE a quick look at the fuse showed it wasnt that but upon replacing the fuse it reset the system so the central locking was working again, the best bit about it was they didnt even charge for the exellent service even tho it was 1/2 an hour of thier time and effort. Had I gone with the other option of going to a dealer they, (possibly) would have charged 2 hrs labour and told me the pump needed replacing.
So again a big thanks to Beccy for her wonderful service and also the guys at Star Tech for showing what customer service REALLY is about.:grin:
