Blinking headlamp A150

Hi, I've got an old 2005 A150. The passenger side headlamp has been blinking for a few weeks. I took it to my local garage who couldn't find a fault with the connections, or the bulb. They've said that it may need a new headlamp module and it would be uneconomic to replace.

Any thoughts?
I would like to keep the car on the road if possible?
