Engine light back on they could not find the fault so spoke to a Merc mechanic he told them it my be a wire that splits into three via a soldered joint that sometimes causes problems so they are going to resolder it anyone heard of this.?

If wiring is doing this it is a very poor/dangerous design/situation, imagine if this was an aircraft!!!!!

Smart + others :)
Depending on the fault code, there is a tips document on the Z connectors that need re soldering.

According to the mechanic that done the job under warranty even though the warranty ran out 15th Oct (can’t fault them for that) the fault code was P208000 exhaust gas temp sensor .
But I still don’t know what a boost meter is or if it is linked.i would have thought it was something to do with turbo but it would be nice to know.
