It would now seem logical then to have another referendum to lay the issue to bed once and for all. I do not fear it, but would hope for a healthy remain vote. I see nothing wrong with people having fears over their futures, in a country that should have been a leader in the Europe Union, as opposed to one that just lay down and accepted the 'diktat', from those who just happened to be much more upfront and interested in shaping the future of the EU, towards their own vested interests.

I shall take those thought processes with me into the next election where there is a chance we will get a new prime minister Corbyn who I do not want.
We could then have re-elections to put the "matter to bed" until he loses just for me.
Or as I normally do I will get on with my life and make the best of it as always, respecting the view of the electorate.

The whole reason for the referendum was to "put the matter to bed" and despite proclamations of plague, pestilence and economic disaster from our elected government etc the country voted to leave.

How clear does it have to be ?

The country had an opportunity at the general election to have another vote on EU membership with the Lib Dems they clearly rejected them and it.

Couldn't put it better myself , there is no even moderation of this thread.

I am very happy to be pulled up for my intemperate answers but when I directly ask where my points are wrong, I get no answer.
If I was on the tri-remain side of the debate it appears its open season. Still I will remain patriotic to the core, support my country, its electorate and the freedoms many have fought and died for.

I suppose you're also happy that nobody picked you up for claiming/lying (perhaps you'd prefer it described as a terminological inexactitude!) that I was "cherry picking" when I posted the complete headlines from Reuters - and you didn't answer that, did you?

Still, I see the IMF have today suggested "Britain may need to raise more money from taxes to bring down its budget deficit after relying heavily on keeping a tight grip on public spending, the International Monetary Fund said on Wednesday." Whatever happens we all know that prices and taxes will increase (dismissed as Project Fear) and the answer to that is "we'll be free!"
- Free to struggle financially, presumably.

Do you seriously want to post that ? please read again what was posted by me and look into the B.O.E survey then come back on and have the decency to apologise.

As to your latest missive, do you understand what the word "may" means.

I'm not a fan of "could" headlines. I'll wait for the "will"or "won't".

The tiresome cut and pasting of "news" is getting beyond a joke the BOE survey was an online tickbox affair from I think around 6,000 people to gauge the nations mood even then it only mentions a slight deterioration in fact they were so little worried about the self generated "Brexit" gloom they raised rates.
Post it by all means but at least read it and understand its methodology.

Instead of engaging in your well worn anti UK trolling routine why not read the survey ?
I'm not talking about the survey. I'm talking about your request for an apology given your history (and while we're at it lets add your latest 'trolling' remark).

What i find difficult is knowing whether the financial news we keep getting is due to the Brexit vote or would have happened anyway. At the moment any bad news is pounced upon and blamed on Brexit but that can not be correct.

I think a reasonable way to get some idea is to look at the European nations and look at ours. If both are negatively impacted chances are it would have happened anyway. If we are negatively or positively impacted and they aren't its a reasonable assumption in my eyes that its at least partially down to Brexit.

There are somethings that are indisputably a result of Brexit. Inflation and falling pound (the pound tumbled on the news and has not yet recovered) are a good example.

Of course you are right,

as we are still in the EU choosing either soaring FT Index or reducing pound to suit your position is meaningless.

Surveys from one man and his dog are equally useless.

Then there's the rather obvious point that anything based on speculation and sentiment is to be avoided.

Come back in a few years time at least.

Again trolling,

if you have nothing to contribute why not do something else.
Please - by continuing the personal attacks you are demonstrating the person you are.
Now given you requested an apology from Dave I would expect you to show the manners required to deserve one and the decency to apologise for the last three times you've accused me of trolling.
