Actually if you look carefully into what is happening you will find a band of Brothers from Nigel Farage , Boris Johnston, to Liam Fox and a few greedy fat cats, in the bacground, who see a golden opportunity to make many more millions from all of this....ie, we now fully control it.

You could say the same from the remain side.The amount of people making millions off the taxpayer through Brussels must be considerably more.
Why should we the British taxpayer have no say as to how the unelected in Brussels spend our hard earned tax.

I suspect for many the principle of labour movement - from the EU or elsewhere - is not contentious.

The point is that both those people you mentioned were elected by someone. Every politician in the EU was either elected or appointed by someone a country of the EU population did elect and were then ratified and approved by the MEPs we and other EU states elected.

Strikes me he has a real issue. He needs to raise interest rates to slow inflation but he can't without slowing the economy, but if he doesn't the economy will slow anyway due to inflation.
The problem with an economy so dependent on retail!

Those of us old enough to remember the referendum campaign remember Mr Carney's post Brexit vote predictions and how inaccurate they were.
Even now financial forecasts are as most of us know similar to weather forecasts, don't bet your shirt on either.
The truth is the world has no where near recovered from the Bankers gambling losses.
The bill has been passed to us as unwitting guarantors and its a millstone in or out of the EU.
Like the recent general election your average joanna public is hitting out at whoever more out of frustration than with any real thought.

I recall in '99 (not the ice cream) sitting with that pillock Byers (good day to bury bad news) and HMG advisors McKinsey at a major event subject of infrastructure investment in the UK. I suggested that if the economy was to be based on the price of houses in the UK, within 10 years it would be approaching a 3rd world country
