C Class 180k 2005 w203 idle problem

Hi please check the video I uploaded. The needle jumps and engine makes spluttering noise when cold start and in drive or reverse. After a quick drive this stops and car runs fine. Anyone advise as to why this is happening?

Could be a number of things, but obvious thing to check would be fuel filters, air cleaner, check spark plug leads, in the dark, to check for sparking, etc., but don't spend money trying to second guess, unless there is anything you know needs changing.

Failing obvious things, get an Indy to check if there are any codes showing.
