C203 alarm

Hi can any of you help?
Evey time I lock the car a c180k the alarm instantly goes off.
Have only tried using the remote locking on the key.
The diagnostic says B1079
Any ideas?

Don't know about the code but Merc alarm sirens are known to play up after about 8 years or so. Can either be replaced or just disconnected.
