Hi

Could anyone please offer some advice?

Is the engine in a C250 the same engine as the E250?

Would this run the same ECU / Map etc?

Basically wondering if a tuning box currently on a E250 would be suitable to swap onto the C250.

Thanks in advance for any constructive advice.

Technically!!! But each vehicle usually runs different software on the Delphi management! But tuning boxes are very crude systems and trick rail pressure and the two channel systems trick boost also!

Many thanks

If the box was not suited for the C250 would this just cause it to run "rough"?

probably not run rough but would certainly lead to early failure of components, If I were on your shoes I'd have your car properly remapped,

It could cause limp mode??? Possible exceed rail pressure limiters and get loss of power!

Many thanks

I have previous experience with a tuning box and a re map.

I would go with the remap but i am still within a warranty period and do not want to loose this.
