Hi,
I have a 2006 Mercedes C320 CDI Diesal, Auto with 90k on the clock. I have a few issues with it. Would greatly appreciated any advice people could offer!
1) Glow plug light comes back on for 1 min after starting. I have changed all the glow plugs and the glow plug control box. Any other thoughts?
2) Occasionally kick back from (eg) 4th to 3rd doesn't work. I just end up slowing down if I'm going up a hill regardless of how much i hit the accelerator pedal. If I pull over and restart the engine, it's fine again.
3) Driving the car as normal. Go to put the car in reverse and it acts like it's in Neutral (ie just revs when I hit the accelerator pedal). If I put it back in Park or Drive then back into reverse it works ok BUT then I can feel a bump when I switch between reverse and drive. Again, turning off the car and restarting solves the issue
