My C350 AMG Sports is about 4 1/2 years old. I don't use the car very much as I am now retired, but the battery keeps going flat. I have previously had 5 Mercedes cars and never a battery has let me down, but this car seems to have a problem, the dealership told me to use the car more often but I don't need to.
Last year 2 months after the warranty finished, the battery had to be replaced, it cost £100, I did have extended warranty, but I had an excess, which I don't have this year.
So I have asked my local Mercedes Main Dealership at Chichester, to put the car on a diagnostic test, to see if something is pulling the battery down. I even bought a new CTEK smart battery charger, which handles AMG batteries, I had it on charge only 10 days ago but today it was flat.
Can anyone advise me, am I asking too much to expect a battery to last 2 weeks, with a good charge, or what should I ask for?.
