W124 E220 COUPE
I have a couple of problems with my w124 coupe 220ce and was wondering if anyone can help.
Firstly there is a grinding noise from the rear left side of the car when i brake heavily. could this be possibly diff supports or ball joints?
Also my rear electric windows are both not working, as well as the rear headrests. have checked fuses and all ok, maybe its the motors?
Finally, when braking heavily, there is alot of clunking from the rear of the car, and the engine will cut out occasionally, not sure what this could be, maybe just age its 22 years old afterall.

If anybody has experienced similar problems or may know what the potential causes are it would be greatly appreciated,
thanks

The grinding noise could be the rear pads worn out, you must check or you will damage the disc surface.

If you have the comfort module, that could contain fuses for the windows.

Much Appreciated, its the pads but gonna do the discs aswell because their shot too.

not sure if mine is the comfort model, also because both rear windows arent working, i thought it could maybe be wire or switches at fault.

i think the motor for the rear headrests is knackered as it makes a small sound when the button is pressed but nothing happens

Head rest [ rear ] dont know if they are like mine, but only go down from dash switch to get them up it a job for you ,just pull them with the strap thats on the head rest.
