No, strict sexism and brand-ism forum rules apply.. Couldn't risk it, more than my jobs worth etc etc....
But just this once, it's fine
1.3 2005 Yaris. At low speeds/low engine revs it seems to feel juddery. Also does this when coasting off the throttle. Also, when changing gear there seems to be a alight delay when engaging throttle, makes smooth gear changes a challenge.
I am not sure if something around fuelling is blocked, the plugs are only 12 months old.
Coil pack ?
Ah ok, I did some reading and that was mentioned along with HT leads. Even I could change a coil pack......I think
There is also an obvious lack of power from when we first had the car.
Have you checked to see if the brakes are binding ? This would answer all your symptoms.
This is not a new problem and has been like it for quite a while. I don't think the brakes are binding, and we did have the local garage who does some work on the car clean them out.
Yes but have you checked to see if any of the hubs are getting warm? All you would need to do is to touch each set of wheel bolts after a journey, to see if any are warm.
Ah ok thanks, I just popped out and both front cold, rear offside cold, but rear near side was warm, and the near side drum (rear drum brakes) was hot.
Link don't work. Some packs are for all 4 plugs . some are singular .
It's ok they were priced up for singles, works out as £80 for the four.
The lack of power depends on what you compare it to generally
It struggles to rev higher up the range. It was never that quick but does feel more sluggish.
That's expensive ...
No idea really, not really bought that many car parts over the years. These were on discount as well
The 6 for my Smart Roadster were around £35 from Merc though 6 for my Omega were less than £15 from Vauxhall.
Lack of cylinders and about 4 litres?
Sorry I’ll get me coat.....
Are you talking about coil packs or spark plugs. My wife's slk 171 for 1 were £25 from ecp . mb probs wanted £100 for 1.
