Changing the Grille

Hello I have recently purchased a 2012 C Class Estate 220. Lovely car but I would like to change the grille from the straight lines to one with the star in the middle. Has anyone done this and if so what part/number do I need any info would be great.

Agreed, it is a very easy swap (just take your time so you don't break any clips). I swapped mine to the AMG style a few months ago.

You'll find plenty of grilles online, the only issue I found is that you can't judge the quality from the price, and from what I read the quality can vary greatly!
In the end I got mine from here: https://www.mercedesgrills.com/w204-s204-models88f49259 - the quality is excellent and John is great to deal with.

Fwiw, I’d leave it as when cars get older it’s all the chavs who ruin them, so a standard ish car looks best. (I thought about a diamond grill on the CLS when I first got it, but wasn’t overly bothered as it’s all cheap plastic and only a few looked to be machined right. A few years on now and I’m glad I didn’t as they look chav now.)

Try Mercedes, I found that an AMG grille for my CL500 was discounted 20% and cheaper than eBay. Still pricey though at £400+
