Hi
Looking for ideas here, my CL65 has a nasty habit of jumping out of drive and into neutral when accelerating. All drive is lost, I coast over to the hard shoulder and once below about 5 mph or when stationary, drive returns as normal. Used to only happen when accelerating briskly, now likely to happen with quite moderate acceleration. Doesn't feel like anything mechanical, more as if a sensor is mis-reading and cutting drive for safety.
Any ideas please?

Or the box low on fluid, you accelerate hard and the fluid goes to the rear of the sump starving the pump.

We had a post once about a guy who's oil pressure fell away on roundabouts, his engine was low on oil

I'll check the fluid, wouldn't there be a warning message if it was low?

Engine mounts ?

I have posted on the other thread but i would advise getting the fault codes read and the fluid level checked as it could just need topping up slightly

When my 140 box had the leak, it would loose drive on hard acceleration, and it does take time to get drive back, my 230 SL500 was the same when the pilot bush leaked

Turned out that the 7 speed MCT needed an oil flush and since then it has been perfect

There is no CL65 with an 7 speed MCT, only the 7g+ tronic, but in the S65 coupe?
