Hi, I'm new to this forum so please be nice!
I'll run through the situation I have with my car...
I left work and central locking worked fine, when I got home and tried to lock my car it wouldn't work. I've had someone out (key specialist) who has tested both my keys and they are working fine. All fuses have been checked and are also fine. He ran a diagnostic on my car and nothing was picked up. The car still starts ok but I'm having to lock manually and wondered if anyone could give me some advice on what this could be? Also how much I am looking at paying to repair?
Thanks in advance! :)

Open the fusebox on the end of the drivers dasboard. There should be a paper in there identifying the fuses. Look up the fuses for the central locking. From memory there are 3 or 4 that cover the system. You can try removing each one for ten seconds and then refitting it. One of them is in the boot fusebox, on the rear SAM. I have had success re-synching a few in the field by doing this.

Also try the key with it just a few inches from the drivers door handle, just in case it an RF fault.
