Hey guys

What's the best cleaner for alcantara seats and the best methods/applications?

Cheers Jamie

Used to have a C63...
Give it a quick vacuum first - ideally with a soft brush attachment, working in one direction.

Then Autoglym interior shampoo, applied VERY GENTLY using either a soft brush, or a sponge.

Try to work in one direction to avoid damaging the alcantara "pile".

Pat dry with a microfibre towel (or k1tchen roll).

Leave to dry (ideally warm day, door or window open a touch), then vacuum the dried residue up (again, work in one direction).

It may well need a couple of goes (my steering wheel was really flat, almost shiny through use... Gave it the above treatment three times).

Also found once done that using clear cellotape worked well to help lift any remaining dried grot, and also lifted the pile.

Steering wheel felt & looked much nicer subsequently!
