In your top picture , has part of the engine casing been broken off by the chain ?Will be taking head off today, chain fell off inlet sprocket. Oil filter full of metal. Shite engineering/design.

I have a clk 200k 2004 and it has done over 200k and was wondering if it's time for a timing chain and tensioner change.
I'm based in the Midlands currently between Coventry and Warwick so if there is any recommendations for anyone who can help with this would be really appreciated.
Eml has been on for over a year now and it might be the exhaust but I can't seem to find any that fit mine online either.
Hoping to get another 50k out of my clk if possible as it's been well looked after by myself and is 20 years old and still going!
