    Hi All,

A friend of mine has a 2006 CLK 500 and wants to upgrade his alloys. He has seen a set of 10 spoke W211 Sport alloys and wanted to know if these will fit.

The alloys are staggered fit with wider rears.
Front wheels are 8.5jx18 ET38 - Front Tyres are 245/40/18
Rear wheels are 9jx18 ET39 - Rear Tyres are 265/35/18

What size wheels will fit his car and where is the best place to look to find that information.

    Thanks

    Standard CLK sizes are

    Front: 7.5Jx18 ET37
    Rear: 8Jx18 ET34

    Fitted with

    Front 225/40 R18
    Rear 255/35 R18

I would think the E class wheels are way too big and will mess with the gearing and probably catch the arches

I was looking at Alloy Wheels Direct website and it doesn't look as though these wheels will fit as the offset is out. However I was surprised to see what size of wheels will fit as in upto a 19" wheels. I've seen another set of wheels which maybe more suited to his car.
    These are
    Front 8jx18 ET30 with 235/40/18
    Rear 9jx18 ET35 with 265/35/18

    The website shows fronts as 8.5jx18 ET30 225/40/18 or 8.5jx19 ET29 with 235/35/19 .
    Rears 9.5jx18 ET35 255/35/18 or 9.5jx19 ET35 265/30/19.

I'm assuming the second set of alloys will fit a lot better due to the wide parameters shown by the Alloy Wheels Direct website.

The wheels you mention in the first post will fit. Any wheels you find, you can use this excellent tool to work out how different size wheel/tyre combinations will effect your car.
