CLK Audio upgrade

I currently have the standard MB 10 CD player (MF2910 I believe) in my 2001 CLK 230 and was thinking about upgrading to something that will play MP3's.
My present player is fine other than it only plays burned CD's when it feels like it, can anyone recommend a decent replacement that won't look out of place in the dash?
I would also like to know how any replacement Audio will affect the display (trip info etc) screen, which is obviously somehow intergrated with the current CD player.

tricky one this

we have becker and blaupunkt in ours, and both play mp3 cds, but neither will permit track selection on burned mp3 discs, only on the original. You can get plug in leads for a older blaupunkt models w/out built-in mp3 player couplings. The blaupunkt doesn't look out of place in a merc, as some of the older and high end models are quite understated. The Heidelberg CD 50 I have has a five band graphic equaliser, and will run a blaupunkt cd changer as well, and has lots of useful features, including naming cds and a traffic bulletin monitor that works while you are out of the car. It won't work with the steering wheel controls if you have them, and won't display in the dashboard, nor will it work the mercedes cd changer. The sound quality is every bit as good as the becker, and has a higher power output as well. In short, I don't regret swapping it for the becker radio-cassette that the 202 came with.
However, I really like the mf2910, and think it works really well with the steering wheel controls, and the gala volume control, and it does look well in the dash of a merc. I'm not sure I'd want to trade all that utility and practicality on our 210.
