Agree - love my CLK 350 sports, although it's poorly with CEL constantly on and DTC's showing 1200 & 1208 but I'm going to shell out for the likely balance shaft repair - even though she's getting on now looks and drives pretty much like a new car! Didn't manifest until it hit 71k at 12th anniversary last month!

I'd love to find a really pristine low mileage 209 coupe with the 320 or 500 petrol engine. It's just about the only thing I'd swap my 202 C280 for.

I know what you mean, although before I got my AMG 350 I did try out a few 500's and to be honest couldn't find much difference - I think they are restricted for the UK market anyway.

I'm stuck trying to find a new car/toy by Mercedes, the W210 then the W211 were among the best in that time frame.
Cant say I'm too impressed style wise except for the 2013>S Class & CLS but I need to get 3 on the back seat

So we've had the 350 for a few days now and have discovered just how much fun it is!

The subtle styling and V6 3.5 have been enough to upset more than one hot hatch and the cars got a lovely exhaust note; mean and moody at low revs, quite when cruising with a nice roar when it's unleashed!

Handing is so much better than our previous CLK (which didn't have sport suspension) and the Comand system is pretty nice.

All the toys work and the air cooled seats are a nice touch. Looks stunning and once the private plate's on it not many people would guess that this is a £6k car. Still, I guess we could have got a new Dacia instead! Lots and lots of car for the money...

Glad we went for the 350 as the engine really suits the car well.

I had two CLK's did 120K on the last one a CLK270. I looked at a late 350 as a replacement, but ended up buying a E350CDI saloon.
