The key fob is not working to open the doors or the boot unless you actually touch the door handle with it, and even then it doesn't work well. Also, the FM radio doesn't work. It sounds like the arial's been disconnected, but of course it hasn't. I suspect both faults are linked, and maybe they use the same antenna?
Anyone have any clues??

Check fuse 8 to see if it has blown, I am sure it is F8 for the alarm siren/ATA

Thanks. Already checked fuses. Fuse 8 was blown but replaced. Hasn't blown again but still doesn't work.:(

Guess what, fuse 8 is blown again. It must be the alarm siren. Any idea how I can disconnect it or where it is?

right, remove the rear section of the near side front wheel arch liner and you will find the sire right at the top at the back, just unplug the thing, replace the fuse and enjoy central locking and FM radio again :D

Sorted. Replaced the siren and fuse 8 and I'm back in business with radio and central locking. Cheers Malcolm :D
