I got my member's mag yesterday and there on P.4 is an article informing us that:
" Mercedes drivers are to benefit from the added perk of seeing their COMAND APS multimedia systems updated at no extra cost for the next three years. Motorists in 39 countries, including Great Britain, are to receive the latest map updates free of charge, which will provide them with a navigation system taking in a number of European destinations. All motorists have to do is visit a Mercedes workshop to profit from the update and they will be advised that one is available through the manufacturer's web pages."
There's a bit more in the mag newsflash about Comand and traffic reports, etc.
Anyone used this yet? Does it really mean that I don't have to buy a DVD (mine's a 2004 211) to update my sat nav? Sounds like a great offer but what about our friends on here who supply these?
