Hi ,

My contour seats dont seem to operate, (both) no sound of air or movement in the seat cushions,

I have checked the fuse and found the pump, pump looks good and operates when 12v is across the terminals,

so , what is the trigger for the pump to kick in, as the controls at the seats only operate air valves.
Is it a drop in resvoir pressure, or something else, Is there a solenoid for the system?

Any one know where the resevoir is located in the 2011 GL model

Any help appreciated

john

Probably has a broken pipe to the seat. If it can’t blow the contours up in a set amount of time it will turn the pump off to prevent it from continually running and burning out

Hi , thanks for the reply, I did have a quick look at the seat connections and they appear to be ok, however the pump doesent even attempt to start when the ignition is on, so if the pump started and then stopped after a short period I would agree with your thought.

It maybe a solenoid that has failed , but I have checked and there is 12v to the plug (red cable) when ignition is on, not sure what the brow cable is as the green appears to be the earth

I'll keep looking

Thanks

John
