Correct part no. for W203 C-Class C240 (2002) Indicator Wiper Stalk or Switch

Hi everyone,

The indicator stalk on my 2002, W203 C-Class indicator has become faulty as I have to hold it when signalling to prevent it from cutting out the signal / flopping back. It seems this is a known issue with this part on the W203 C-Class.

I've been told by two different sellers that they've got the correct part though their part / OEM numbers are different and I'm unsure which is the right one. I'm trying to avoid taking off the steering wheel and other bits for the replacement only to discover that the one I ordered isn't right afterall! :wallbash::wallbash:

The two part numbers I've been given are A0005452310 and A2035450310. Could it be the case that either is compatible?

My vehicle's VIN is WDC2030612R084525 in case someone has a means of checking.

I would take the air bag off and disconnect it, undo the bolt for the steering wheel which is the hardest job, undo the screws from the stalk and check part number. Only takes 10 minutes, so you get the correct part

From your chassis number it looks to me like part number 0005452310. As Brian says it needs to come off anyway, so might as well check to be certain.
