No surprise really with modern H&S. Even if it's bad for your health, no one wants to inhale that stuff.

For sure.
My assessment of the builder proved correct.
As the job hit delays ... dint they all.
I asked them to have an interim clear up.
Bluntly he told me to take a hike!

I gave him 1 hours to reconsider, or we could leave it to the HSE.
25 minutes later he agreed to put 3 guys on it the following day starting at 8.30!
They spend all day rinsing our flat garage roofs, neighbours pitched roof, the scaffolding and powerwashing my driveway. All squeaky clean and a comittment to do a final power-wash it all down, once the scaffolding has been removed .... I guess his Solicitor woke him up to the 2 big fines he was risking.
