I think the red interiors look really rich if you know what I mean
I always dreamed of a car with red interior when I was a lad, and my first one was a 1965 Triumph 2000
As a matter of interest, do your AMG kick plates light up when the lights are on, mind did once when we first bought the car and have never lit up since

Yes they do, and the foot wells light up as well, and the interior door handles which is a nice touch. Have you checked the fuse ?

I must admit I am having a bit of a problem with my vacuum circuits at the moment, needs further investigation, but I may end up needing a new PSE pump. Other than that, all good.

Come to think of it neither do my foot well lights or the door panel light...... No have never given it any thought, so good call Mark, I'll check the fuses

You haven't a small vacuum leak in the lines?

Wow, that red interior looks fantastic. I have a blue interior, but it's difficult to buy mats in the right colour for mine.

Well, a leak is certainly a possibility, but also a malfunction on the PSE circuit board is also a possibility unfortunately, as more than one system is affected, namely seat vacuum supply is absent, and boot soft close is intermittent.

I have red carpets, with grey AMG overmats, which works quite well.

Those really compliment the interior nicely

My old Triumph had black over mats (actually they were rubber)
