Problem I find with silver is that the dirt shows up and people can write god knows what in it.

At least with Black you can hide it.

Tanzanite blue looks really good, saw it on a 2016 C-Coupe and mmhmm, I wouldn't say no.

I find that silver is the best colour for not showing any dust, black is the worst IME

Oh it does, just not on the scale of say a silver car.

I remember having a silver Ford Focus as my first ever car and my friend decided to write something inappropriate in it...

Didn't notice till a random member of the public told me.

That actually supports my view that silver hides the dust better than black.

No not biased at all, it's the colour for Manly Sex Gods.

I love to see a MB in silver, its the classic colour. My next car will be in silver. I've had Merc's in silver, black and grey and i liked black the least. Having said that i am in Spain at the moment in a black A200 and it looks lovely.

I've had 5 Mercedes and a Smart.
Of them 3 were silver (r129, w202 and w210).
The other w202 was black and looked fantastic.
The w203 was blue and it's probably my least favourite colour.
Silver on an MB always looks great.
