Door lights will not turn off

The light under the rear doors on my 230 decided not to turn off when locking up last week. To avoid the battery running down I took out the bulbs. Any ideas why this problem might have occurred and how it can be rectified will be greatly appreciated.

But interior lights are turning off? If not - door switch. If yes - sorry, can't help :Oops:

Thanks. Yes, main light is turning off. Just the rear door lights staying on.

Have you checked the rear door pin switches
