C250 CDI 2011
I am all out of ideas on this one so hoping somebody on here might be able to help...

I have a 2011 W204 CDI with a DPF.

A couple of months ago stuck in the snow and revving the car quite hard to get out (I got out) the EML came on.

Further investigation revealed fault codes P2463 and P2454.

I replaced the differential pressure sensor hoping I could at least clear the P2454 fault - It didn't.

The DPF was too full to force a manual regeneration so I removed the DPF and cleaned it (jetwash etc) - This cleared the P2463 fault.

The P245400 (The input for the differential pressure sensor 1 has a short circuit to ground) fault still remains, so I checked the wiring, no shorts to ground on any of the 3 wires coming from the sensor.

I thought maybe it was a faulty sensor that I'd fitted previously, so went and bought ANOTHER genuine part from mercedes...guess what, fault is STILL present.

I have checked the wiring again but am unable to find a fault (hard without a wiring diagram) but the sensor is receiving the 5V input voltage.

I have heard there is a TIPS document to replace the wiring loom? Not sure how this would make a difference if the wiring checks out OK?

I am beginning to wonder if there is a problem with my ECU as the sensor gets its voltage and grounds through this...

If anyone can advise, otherwise it is in the the merc specialist on wednesday....I need to fix it ASAP before the DPF clogs up again!

I have seen a few cases where both the turbo and exhaust sensors have needed to be replaced.
