Not too much of a problem but I have ECU's for sale on there,
I guess its just in my area.
Not down for me.
It's fine for me. I've just come from there after leaving feedback.
You don't have permission to access "http://www.ebay.co.uk/myb/Summary?" on this server.
I can access via e-bay mobile app on 3G network
I just clicked that link and it signed me straight into my account!!!
Ok flushed and cleared browsers & dns then renewed ip still the same so must be an E-Bay thing
Bit worrying as I have buyers
Apparently its a block by an E-bay Akami server on certain Virgin Media IP addresses.
^ Get a free VPN like Cyberghost to circumvent Virgin blocking your Ebay connection.
Problem with free VPN is they queue you up for ages.
New free Virgin Media router fixes problem apparently
as it acquires a new VM ip address not on the block list.
Will see tomorrow when it arrives
Ok do not use that VPN software
I have an Win 10 laptop I test any new unknown software on its old and sacrifice-able etc.
My laptop was hacked into via this software and the ransom ware crypotolocker was installed.
A desktop screen shot screen saver was there on the reboot indicating the problem,
it was demanding payment via bitcoin 0.55.
All documents are encrypted as are pictures music etc etc.
This is the same screen saver I had displayed though not the exact one as the date indicates.
A nice deep format overnight and a fresh win 10 installed and were all good again.
Cryptoprevent is installed on the laptop now as it is on all my other laptops and PC's here and at work.
Also the new Virgin Media router has fixed the E-Bay problem, that arrived this evening.
Thanks for the info on that VPN I suggested
Hadn't used that one personally and it came recommended on a Google search. Only one I have ever used was Tunnelbear which was limited for data.
Sorry about that.
Not a problem,
my fault really as I had the antivirus off on that laptop
after installing some "test" software.
If the AV was on it would have been squashed.
My bad ............ but that java hack can come through e-mail as well so look out.
ok E bay is stable again.
New Virgin Media Modem router installed new ip address assigned and now all is ok.
Seems like an e-bay server domain blocked a whole bunch of VM ip's in South London
I use a VPN at the moment as living in the Middle East I need one.
The only ones I've found worthwhile are IPVanish and ExpressVPN.
Both as good as each other but ExpressVPN works with AmazonPrime TV/Video as it hides the geolocation too.
IPVanish works with everything else except Amazon Prime TV.
This is my connection without a VPN switched on.
This is with IPVanish.
This is with ExpressVPN
There is a deal with TechRadar at the moment which gets you 57% off IPVanish.
ExpressVPN has 30% off at the moment too.
I'm using ExpressVPN at the moment after Hide My Ass became unusable for BBC. EVPN make a big thing of not reducing speeds but it's clear from your screen shots, and my own experience, that it does, although with your speeds you'd not really notice. I currently get about 12.5 mb as no fibre where I am and on occasions, the VPN will mess up Sky Sports channels. The odd buffer on movies is no big problem.
The only thing I get buffering on is with Live Sport on Kodi.
But that's not using a VPN. I don't have any buffering with my VPN on when using BBC, Amazon TV etc.
IPVanish is free with Eweka Usenet accounts ... just incase that interests you
Thats quite a choke on the ISP's up/down when a VPN is used.
My android box has Kodi but I dont use it.
I use WSS.apk, it can get a bit stuttery(rare)
but watching the F1 at the moment(Sky)
its a good quality stream and smooth as silk.
Ecclestone joking about creating a new F1 team lol
Could you PM the details? I'm using Amazon Fire TV (not a stick) and having to watch a really sh!tty SD stream which is heavily compressed.
